Post muscle flab?

if a person were to work out until their body was 'rip' (like mens health models or brad pitt in fight club) and then they stopped working out would they get fat?

i heard it was called 'musclebound' and is uncomfortable. - And you would get get fat too if you kept up the same food intake. :-)
No fat and muscle are different the muscles are already there and by exercising you are making them bigger they stand out more .Usually when people exercise to achieve that 'ripped' look they are on a low fat diet so their muscles stand out because there is a smaller fat layer in between the skin and the muscle. When they stop exercising the muscle relaxes and shrinks that is why body builders exercise or 'pump iron' before they go on stage . Fat as we all know is much harder to get rid of !
I used to be very muscly (for a teenage girl), especially on my arms and legs. Now that I havent been in training for 2 years, the muscle turned to fat, but i'm no larger (or fatter)than when i was training.
