Why is it everytime i have been on a long horse ride, after ive come home, showered, relaxed etc I start to feel very achey, shivery and feel like im coming down with flu (when im ok a day or two later).....i thought any form of exercise was good for you????

What does one have to do to get a decent answer off someone intelligent enough on here ? Not sure what has gotten into Dot lately, just read another very flippant reply of hers on another persons question - UNHELPFUL indeed. Perhaps she is having a bad day?
DOH not my fault i was born before most of u, Trampas, Charles Porteus Novel 'The Virginian' made into a film and subsequently made into a TV series by Universal starring James Drury as The Virginian and the late Doug McClure as Trampas.

have you ever considered that you might be allergic to horses - I'm being serious, this reaction sounds a bit like it or does it not happen when you've been round horses for a day but not actually ridden ?

Not allergic, as I am around horses frequently, its only after I have ridden ! Its normal to have the usual aches and pains after, but to feel pretty yukky is not right.....hmmmmmm....
