johnlambert + ward-minter were having an arguement on it until the early hours, I reckon minter stayed up all night removing John's posts

Isn't that typical!! Lol, wish id witnessed that, sounds like fun!!
it was, lambert was making mincemeat out of minter until minty spat out his dummy
dont let it worry ya RATTER, its happening to all of us. i had an answer removed the other day and still cant find what it was or where it was... loony season again me thinks..
look in your profile funkymoped then scroll down to questions, that should help
Great isn't it - a perfectly reasonable question like ratter's, asking for info - pretty much the purpose of this website - gets junked, yet this forum is stuffed full of the most inane threads in which people spill forth tedious drivel but which are left to flourish in all their dreary semi-literate glory.

They should just make this forum "Health" or "Medical" and bin all the boring chit-chat and "Hey does anyone know where so-and-so is" and "I just ate some crisps!" etc. Then all that lot can bog off to some chatroom or other where they can have their shrieking is-my-partner-cheating-on-me I-like-to-imagine-I'm-a-character-in-a-soap conversations.

That's what I think, anyway.
I once asked a perfectly sensible question about diet and health and it got banned after half hour - god knows why!!
I answered a question about an hour ago about Ben Fogle and the fact that he isn't gay . It was in people and places. Gone now !
I've visited other boards before where the editors/moderators seem rather trigger-happy and often targeted innocuous threads but decline to offer the courtesy of explaining why they've axed the thread. If you've had a thread removed you should get a courtesy email explaining why - especially if it wasn't obscene or obviously offensive/inappropriate in other ways

Backdrifter, I found out why it was banned, ward~minter was throwing his weight around and being his usual obnoxious self, I think the Ed thought it better to remove the question altogether, I read his answer and now understand why it was banned. Thanks for you input.
awww backdrifter, does that mean you wont be popping by to wish me a happy birthday? :)
sniper, it must be an old answer that was removed. i checked all my recent answers and cant find the one that was removed !!
finding removed answers is earier, i found them no problem. :-)
thanks for the advice....
yeah, it suddenly turned into an abuse-fest. But it was a perfectly good Q and should have been allowed to stay on the site with the abusive posts removed. <looks around to see if new Editor is listening>
RATTER why not ask your question again and hope it wont be hijacked by the bully boys?
ratter thanks for the response.

jno - EXACTLY right! Why destroy an innocent thread - just throw the 'offending' posts out!

redcrx - happy birthday. Happy to wish it to you within the confines of this sensible thread!
