when my step mum passed away last week there was a car loan she was garantor for, for her son, still outstanding of @ �18,000 but @ �10,000 was debt for her son & @ �8,000 was for the car she had on tick. the loan was consoledated to the value of �18,000 how do my dad legaly stand . i.e is he liable for the full or part repayments on the loan, even though he never signed any papers?
