It is a bout a boy who is leaving his house, because of war, in Willemstad somewhere in Venezuala and is torpedoed off the ship and wakes up on a litte raft with a black man and they come to a Cay and the black man dies and the boy becomes blind earlyier in the story and then somebody finds him and he gets his eyesight back.
