guilty feet

or guilty feelings?
have got no rhythym.... surely its feet!!
its feet, had major rows over this in the past tho!
That 10cc song,I dont like reggae' or something, well that one anyway, always used to sing i dont like cricket!
wonder years, you have sent me to bed chuckling and happy, thank you !!
You'll find a few here:

Craig David - When the crowd say Post a letter.
someone I know usd to sing "boogie with your dad" instead of "boogie wonderland" !!!!!
electricblue, that 10cc song is Dreadlock Holiday and in one verse they DO sing "I don't like cricket"! (followed by "I love it"). So you weren't mistaken.

I can't remember who did the song but there's one where the chorus goes "I'm not talking 'bout movin' in, and I don't wanna change your life" or something. I genuinely thought it was "I'm not talking 'bout the linen". And while I don't wish to suggest I have a linen fixation, I could never work out whether Bowie, in Life On Mars, sang "Linen's on sale again", "Lennon's on sale again" or "Lenin's on sale again". I actually looked it up so I'd nail it for once, and yet I still can't remember, so I've obviously got a mental block with it.

SteveD that kiss-this-guy website is a nice idea but I got irritated with it as it was stuffed full of people so obviously trying to be funny by converting lines they already knew into what they MIGHT be misheard as.
And oh yeah, Madonna La Isla Bonita - "Young girls with eyes like potatoes" and "Last night I dreamt of some pebbles"

I had a heated debate with a friend about that annoying Edie Brickell song "I Know What I Know", I was convinced she said "Choke me in the shallow water" which seemed feasible (and a good idea too). But he rightly said it was "chuck" in her over-emphasised country-girl accent.
Backdrifter - I thought it was "Choke" aswell, that's what Emma Bunten sang aswel and that wasn't anything to do with an accent, unless she has misheard to!
Bunton covered that? Didn't realise. And she sang choke too? Hmmmm, maybe I was right after all, I feel a lyric search a-coming on!

God, that's one of the most twee, girly, irritating songs EVER. Made worse that it's from an album called Shooting Rubber Bands At The Stars. Yeccchh.
My ex used to sing "Africa" instead of "Aaahh freak out!" in the Le Freak, c'est chic classic - he had a really strong french accent aswell which made it sound even funnier.
ive been singing 'me and mrs brown' for ages..

its really funny thinking of everybody singing the wrong words, and you can see why by just singing all the wrong bits, of there songs lol
my mate used to sing "Flexic nuneral" to the chorus of a song CALLED "electric funeral!" by black sabbath

he wouldn't have it of course, even though those are not even real words!!
Maybe this site is better:

I just Googled for "misheard song lyrics".
