think of yourself as a manager....when i was promoted my boss told me a good manager is one who can delegate effectively...can you delegate some of your tasks? just a thought...by the way, i lead a very hectic life too. my job is very stressful, my kids are very demanding, my mother has dementia..i try to delegate where possible....it helps a bit anyway...im very very forgetful and fear im inheriting my mothers dementia..time will tell!

do you ever get 'me time'..very important....i have mine on a saturday afternoon when no matter what, i down tools, leave the housework and the kids (old enough to be left for 2 hours) and have lunch with the girls.....i get all dressed up...just for the 2 hours, prance in the wine bar like i got it all ...i act like i got no problems, i talk about world affairs not kids or bills, come back, put on the pj's and slob out and nobody ever knows""" hehe...its a very important time...some of the girls i lunch with have not partners or kids so i know they dont wanna talk about crap or probs in my life...try at least once...a great sense of power for 2 hours a week at least!!!!
I do believe that stress can play havoc with your memory, it does mine, when I am particularly stressed I simply cannot think straight and my brain turns to mush, even more so than it normally is!
It sounds like you do need to try to reduce your workload if possible somehow, I know it is easier said than done, but you will make yourself ill if you continue and then you won't be any help to anybody!!
