photo display software

hi i am after a piece of software that is the same as iphoto as I have a pc and not a mac...i want one that allows you to select a folder of photos and just click a button to show them as a slide show...I have found a few but what I want is the ability to add music to it otehjrwise watchign them without can be a bit boring....i do not need to save the slideshow as a file just to view it within the software...thanks

Irfanview can do the slideshow. Winamp can do the music. Computers can run more than one program at a time now ;o)

Irfanview can play sounds, not sure if it will play it in a slideshow though..... I'll have a look into it.

There is a 'Loop MP3 files (background music)' option on the slideshow settings. I guess this means it will play any mp3 files that you add to the slideshow as background music.

Oh, and there's an option to export the slideshow as a screen saver or a standalone .exe.

see it had that option about the mp3 but then no option where to actually get the track from...hhmm wonder if there is a bit of software that does it where you pay for it...

I think you add the MP3 to the slideshow, ie, as if it were a picture.
