I would like to have a smiling Budhha statue, is it correct that someone has to buy one for you for luck ?

Yeah I believe the luck comes from being given one rather than just having one.

I dont know about the buying bit but all i know is when our budda monk went missing ther was no lucjor positive energy in the house but now he is back all is good we have a positve energy and only one thing has been broken since his return, our fridge!

I think you still benefit if you buy it yourself but the saying i've heard is that your luck will be doubled if you buy one as a present for someone. So buy two, give one to a mate and lap in the luck that will follow !
