How many men will admit to being beaten by their wives or female partners. I suffered a little of this, simply because a man defending himself is at risk of injuring his partner, I couldn't live with the thought that I hurt a woman. I know a lot of men and women are likely to say she would have deserved but I could not do that. I ain't no wimp and can look after myself. I will also point out that I am no longer with this woman and I am now very happy with a new Lady and yes she is a lady lol

I know what you mean, my boyfriend wouldnt dare tell anyone about the systematic nipple twisting he suffers.
I find it sad that when TV programmes and the media talk about domestic violence in general, they bias it towards the male being the agressor, yet I have known of several men who have been, for want of any better words, physically bullied by their wives/girlfriends and who initially felt too ashamed to say anything.

Your feelings aside about hurting women, Ratter, if you were to defend yourself and ended up causing some injury to the woman concerned, who do think the police are going believe?

It's good that you managed to escape from a potentially oppressive relationship. May you continue to be as happy as your are now.
