Red face/arms/legs after exercise

After playing an hour of sport i turn bright red for half an hour, but none of the others i play with do. does anyone know why this happens, and/or how to stop it? just curious really...

It could be you're a little bit un fit? Or maybe that's just the way you are! When I used to play sport I'd be sweating and red, I'd say I was just as fit as some people - who looked the same after exercise!
I wouldn't worry. Maybe it's because they're letting you do all the running around! :-)
That happens to me, too - usually after a cardio workout like the elliptical machine. I feel fine, albeit a bit flush.

A gym staffer told me that the exercise produces excess heat, and the body is trying to cool off. Blood carries the excess heat from deep in the body to the skin, allowing the heat to radiate off the surface. The redness is a sign of the heat transfer. It seems that in some people the excess is, well, excessive.
