When I went on holiday I got a bit ill and I started drinking water mixed with whatI think was called Electral, which replaced lost salts and really made me feel better.
Now I think I need to take some but I don't know where to buy it. Does anyone know what I am talking about and where I can buy some? (in the UK).
thanks

boots sell diaorylyte (spelled something like that anyway) which sounds like thsame sorta thing
The product you are after is probably ELECTROLADE which is basically the same as Dioralyte. Any good chemist should stock it or their own cheaper version. It's basically a solution that rehydrates you with salt etc in it.

Thanks, that's the stuff.... Boots sold me their generic version, 3.09!

That'll sort my head out.
For Future Reference, Products such as Dioralyte replace lost Salts and Fluid. You can acheive the same thing by mixing the following

Pint Glass of Water, 3/4 Teaspoon of Salt, same of Sugar and put a little Concentrated Orange Juice. Sip it slowly otherwise you'll be sick.

I work for St. John Ambulance and this is what we give dehydrated Patients.
Exactly crazyd - i mix water, sugar, salt and fresh lemon juice together - blooming refreshing
