aye, stop up with ABers till you,ve got matchsticks holding ur eyes open, a numb a**e and a suspected case of deep vein thrombosis from not moving ur lower body for long periods of time.
Check all the lights are out, grab a can from the fridge, wander upstairs, quick pee (lights on for that one otherwise you miss!), pull bedroom curtains, step over the wine boxes, into bed, 1/2 hours reading, final glance at the Cat Deeley poster on the wall, sleep.
Put tshirt on, brush teeth, take make up off, climb into bed, read book, turn light off, dream of Bruce Willis. Not necessarily in that order, mind. ;-) Some of it gets mixed up a bit at week ends....
let the dogs out for a wee, check on kids ,bed :o)
seriously tho, a routine does help. i find it hard to get a set one with working late in the pub some nights and not others.
usually its dogs out, a chill for an hour in front of the tv with nypd blue if i've been working, then a bit of a read if i've got a good book on the go. that does the trick for me.
relaxation is the key.
sex....
depends how i,ve done in the bar!!
Hey Sandra :)

I attempt to keep my bedtime routine the same but its quite difficult as i often sleep in some strange places. I usually go upstairs (with handbag cos it contains essentials such as fags and phone), then i change into my lovely sleepsuit, then i go to the bathroom, then i go back into bedroom (if thats where i am sleeping), then i take out my contact lenses and put on my glasses, then i make sure i have all the necessary remotes, then i have a cigarette and then i send some goodnight texts and then i may finally attempt to sleep. After typing this i am quite surprised that i don't instantly fall asleep, my bedtime routine seems to contain more than my actual day does.
