I have posted this in Parenting but thought i'd stick it here too as it seems to be the most active section!
I live in Gloucestershire and have lots (and lots!) of my children's toys that they do not use anymore, they are all in good condition and I was wondering if anyone knows of a company that would come out and collect them to be donated to charity or hospitals, or for re-sale somewhere perhaps? I can't bear to throw good toys away but do not have the time, or room in my car to deliver them. Getting money for them would of course be nice, but I would rather give them to kids in need for nothing as opposed to chucking them out.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.

most charity shops will call out to pick them up.. just give them a ring.
Sometimes this can be a bit of a cloak and dagger affair......
but have you thought about donating to a womens refuge. Perhaps your local domestic violence officer can get them collected from you, and see they get to where they would really be appreciated!
you could see if there is a Toy Library in your area.
