I used to live not far from Telford, lynney ~ in Market Drayton. I used to most of my shopping there..although used to alternate between Telford & Stoke On Trent.

We used to be neighbours!! Lived in Worthing, moved to L'hampton, then moved back again 2 yrs ago....

Minty, used to go to Barnet as kids, when friends of my parents moved there. As a teenager+ used to pub crawl all around Radlett area, loved it ! Also used to frequent the country pubs, when a little older - but thats another story......

Hi electricblue, Croydon is ok, but non-stop. Loads of amenities, IKEA, etc, but constant noise and legendary traffic.

If I want to get away from it all occasionally I have to cycle 5 hard miles to reach the North Downs. In Norfolk, surely virtually anywhere I lived there'd be countryside on my doorstep.

I like Tuttington too :)

I meant we lived in Worthing, moved to L'ton (stayed 6 1/2yrs) then moved back to W, two yrs ago.....

We lived on border to Rustington, had a lovely little house, but had to return here unfortunately.....

Wardy, I gathered that - stopped off for petrol at the garage by the little roundabout and was stared at by customers and Sales Assistant - they can obviously spot an "outsider" at 50 paces.....
