What do Escorts Exactly do?

I was wandering through town the other day when a woman handed me a business card, advertising an escort agency which were looking for more escorts. The card looked quite proffessional and explained that it was safe. I'm tempted to call as it's 70 an hour and i'm in debt.

Would anyone do this or has anyone done it. If so what is exactly involved? I realise you don't have to have sex (which i would never do) so what is involved?

So, you know it's safe because a 'quite professional' card said it was?

Escorting may be 'quite safe' depending on where and how you do it, but taking the word of a card that would have cost very little to produce is just ludicrous.

Also, escort may not implicitly mean sexual relations, but it's pretty synonymous for a lot of people.

Why not contact the police with a Freedom of Information request (you can get the information sent to a valid email address and do not have to provide any other details) and find out whether there have been any cases of, say, soliciting associated with that premises?

Whatever you decide, you need to check it out much more thoroughly before you commit to something that may put you in some difficult circumstances.

The best advice I can give you is to read 'In good company, the escorts guide' by Kay Good. It is a really practical, no holds barred guide to escorting. Kay Good runs 'Good Girls' and agency she started, and used to be an escort herself. It tells you all about working for an agency, the pitfalls and dangers, the legal aspect, what to expect. I have found that it is rare escorting only means going for meals etc but due to laws on escorting, an agency will only advertise and sell your time, ie company. However, many clients will expect or require 'extras' but that is something that you and the client would discuss, the agency wouldnt become involved with that. Hopefully though, this agency that you have come across, is a genuine above board company, call them and ask them your concerns and questions, I imagine they would expect you to have some! and definatly get a copy of that book, its an eye opener and very practical.

The Escort Agency will make you sign a 'contract' making them clear of any prostitution. It will state your escort duties and where the agent will agree to introduce 'clients' to the 'escort'.

You will be signing saying You also confirm that YOU will not be offering any immoral services and YOU will not be producing any immoral earnings.

You will also agree that the agent, being made aware of any immoral acts, will cease to act as your agent.

There will be a fee payable to the agent. That will be per hour.

Now comes the good bit, believe me you are expected to sell your body!!! and by the way... 70? how much is their fee out of that?

B. xxx

If you got 70 an hour, what would the agency be asking the client? A ton? Now how many men are going to fork out that kind of money just for the pleasure of buying some lady a meal.. Guessing not many,if any.
I would have thought you wouldnt get much work thrown your way if you were not prepared to have sex with the clients.
There are some men who just need someone pretty on their arm for a function etc. There are also male agencies, so single women can either have someone to go out with, or take to a family do, or a work thing... or have sex with, of course.

I find it pretty hard to believe that someone would hire an escort without expecting sex..of course there may be some people out there who just need an escort for a function that they have been invited to but they are single..and they really want to make an impression ~ such as a wedding or dinner dance.

I would assume that this would be pretty rare though..not much money to be made there!

Sorry Scarlett ~ I kind of repeated what you said :o)

Maybe it`s all innocent but they do advertise in the same columns as the Massage Parlours in our local paper which may cause people to think there is some connection with sex.

btw.... that page is next to the motoring page, so thats how I know.

Who are you trying to kid Elvis? I know Busty Barbara and she says some very complimentary things about you :o)

So she should Pippa...the amount of money she`s had off me lol

Escorts do all sorts of stuff for their clients, usually involving sex or other forms of it. These courtesans offer their time and companionship to men that want to book them. They can use this time to be intimate with an escort and the rest is history.
