wipe out hiv and have a third arm, just a little one so it can hold a handbag, car keys etc, leaving your two arms/hands free for other things
i would also wipe out cancer it is the most nasty thing in the world but if it was for me at this persent moment it would have to be that i didnt get hayfever anymore! cos it makes me sad :o(
I would wipe out all the terrorists that we live in fear of and go back and change some of my GCSE results so that i could train to be a primary school teacher!! If that failed I would change the fact that i will never win the lottery!!!
Wipe out any killers, so that would include HIV and cancer but also paedophiles and the like. And the one silly thing I would change is I would make wheels on cars turn sideways so you can slot yourself into a space instead of parallel parking, oh and if I can have one more (just coz its me) DIY smear tests, so many more people would do it then.
oooh DIY smear test, good one, i'm trying to talk myself into mine at the moment, i will go just takes me a while, the practise nurse isn't the kindest of souls!

Despite having had a close relative die of cancer recently I'm not sure about the wiping out cancer thing. It seems logical... I'm not even sure why I'm not sure, if you see what I mean. By the way, I love the fact that the question-poser wants cancer gone then wants to avoid walking - thus setting us on the road to unfitness, obesity and bowel cancer! Nice opposing logic there.

Intolerance would be high on my list of things to go. But lurking at the back of my mind with questions like this is always the idea that we might need the bad things to help make some sense of life.

Blimey. Might be time for me to go home!

and mcfluff, dont worry every woman has to have one and you'll feel a whole lot better when you do. And as for the extra arm, I'm sure if you 3 you'd then want 4 :-) loopyc sorry for butting in on your post :-)

no worries 4getmenot x

i would put rescue remedy (or something similar) in the worlds water supplies to make everyone chill out and feel better, thereby lessening their desire to do bad things

for me it would be to be a bit healthier, wipe out all my illnesses and ailments

Stopping abortion being possible. I just think it is wrong.
i had my smear test last week and they have changed the scraper thingy to a cotton bud type thing (sorry about my terminology!!) much more comfortable although still something i hate!! in answer to the q i would change incurable diseases. for me it would be either - having the figure i had at 18, no hayfever or invisability!! xXx

I would cure Alkeizmers Disease. It is devastating for those who suffer it and those who care for them. If you are diagnosed with cancer, often there is an end to it. Alkzeimers can continue for years and years and robs the human body and soul of any dignity and personality at all - truly a living death.

I would cure Parkinson's Disease.

My second eldest sister Flo has had this awful disease for a few years now & is getting progressively worse. It is pitiful to watch someone you love so dearly, suffering & trying to get through every day - but she thinks positive for the sake of her children & grandchildren.

I would also like to find a cure for brain & lung tumours/cancers, which have claimed people in my family.

As I'm too late to benefit from curing cancer, It'd have to be improving the damn weather.
I would want to have the power and influence to control the world - and the morals and wisdom to do it properly.

That was honestly the first thing that came to mind...I remember 4 years ago, when I was in the second year of high school, our headteacher asked us to think about what we would wish for if we could have any wish granted and that is what I picked! He then went on and asked a few people what they would wish for (winning the lottery, being famous etc.) and then smugly continued "I bet none of you wished for wisdom, that is what King Solomon wished for..." and then he went into some Biblical story. Personally I think my wish was better!
