Presentation meal

I won an award with school and have got a presentation on Saturday night to receive it. What shall I wear? I'm a curvy size 12 quite short, and pale skinned. It's formal dress, and I'd like to stand out and look different. Thanks x

You sound fairly similar to me - size 12, biggish hips and only 5' 1"

There are loads of gorgeous dresses in Monsoon if you have one locally - the kind of thing you could wear again if you get invited to any summer weddings, but they are quite pricey!!

Wear a darker color top or bottom with a light color top or bottom. Example black slacks (wide leg are very slimming), maybe a bright colored blouse, match the shoes with the shirt. Make sure they have a spike heel (stilleto heel/thin) If you have a bright shirt wear darker jewelry, like black long beeds- they'll make your torso look longer. Express has some fantastic styles.
