Hi y'all. As an incentive to lose weight (little chubber that I am), I'm going to have 'rewards' for every 7lbs I lose - does anyone have any (non food-related!) ideas? I'm setting a cost limit of around 50 per mini-goal, with a huge blow-out when I reach the magic weight. Thanks! x.

Great ideas from both! Thanks so much - looking forward to this! Thanks for the luck, too - yay, the teenier tinier purplelily is on her way! xx
...nooo shooes!....or a new handbag, or jewellry , if you like charm bracelets you could get a new charm everytime you hit your targets....
I would go with loopyc. I would leave buying clothes until you reach your target. How about a professional tan treatment at a salon? It will really make you feel glam and sexy.
How about a new perfume, earrings, accessories for your smaller clothes( costume jewellry, bangles), fancy luxury bubble bath and body lotion.

Definately something that makes you happy. Do something with a friend- go shopping, walking, or to a movie. Non-related to food, and enjoy yourself! Laugh! Give that little mouth a smile or two.Take your time to lose weight and definately don't be worried about it. Feel good for what your doing for yourself but remember its YOUR inside beauty that counts!

Thanks gerkin, I like to think that I don't look like a fat pig now, but maybe I'm kidding myself?

Meloder Kerb - ahhh, what a lovely answer, made me smile loads just reading it! Thanks! xx

An all-expenses paid night out for me. You can come along too.
How about using the money to try some new things. It could be very confidence building as you work towards the new you. For example, take some singing lessons, learn an instrument, try a new sport or sign up for a course. It doesn't matter if you don't stick to these things - it's all about finding out who the new you is. Good luck with it - you're sure to succeed with such a good attitude! ;o)

roomby, what a great idea! I've always wanted to learn to play the guitar and learn to sail a boat! I'm succeeding so far, and finding it quite easy at the moment (famous last words?). I love the idea of finding 'who the new me is'! Thanks!

Calvesy - bless you - you're all heart, huh? ;)

Thanks again all! xxx

How about the probability that for each 7 stone you lose, you are likely to live for an extra 1 to 2 years. This gives you more opportunities to get run over by a bus or be involved in a fatal train or airplane crash. If that doesn't do it for you, then how about the prospect of more and better sex ?
