Recently come off prozac (4-5 weeks). I am now suffering from dizziness and migraines on a daily basis. Has anybody else experienced this? Can anyone recommend any good websites? Thanks :)

Did you just stop or did you reduce your dose slowly?
Did your doctor tell you to stop taking them?
You should only come off Prozac after medical advice and if and when you do you should reduce your dose slowly but surely ie. half a tablet every day for a couple of weeks, half a tablet every other day for another couple of weeks etc etc.
Sod a website - get to your doctor!
i am currently on prozac and i have been for the past 5 yrs...i decided i didnt want to take them any more and just stopped taking them, i suffered the same side effects you have....my doc doesnt want me to come off them but he said when i do they gradually reduce it. i take 3 a day so he said i will reduce it to 2 a day for a couple of weeks, then 1 a day for a couple of weeks, then 1 every second day....that way you shouldnt get any side effects. hope that helps

thanks Gary but Im not that stupid! I have discussed my doses with my gp at length. I am a nurse and know my Gp from a couple of years ago we worked together when he was a medical registrar in my ward. He trusted me to take things at my own pace. Yes, I decreased gradually and have been fine up until just recently, 4 weeks after stopping completely. I just have mild dizziness and migraines, which I can live with and I doubt my gp can do an awful lot about. Im hoping someone maybe has experienced this too and can indicate how long they had these symptoms for. I am looking for an informative, unbiased website-possibly a good forum as all I can find are websites trying to sell/promote the drug.
Sorry ali !
Thats what comes from not having all the facts eh?
I experienced the same symptons as you because i decreased my dose too quickly and without consulting my doctor.
This is going to sound really stupid but i found chocolate really helped (something to do with the release of serotonin i'm guessing).
I used to take my pill in the morning and by mid afternoon i would fell dizzy and light headed and a bar of chocolate would seem to perk me up. I'm sure a doctor wouldnt prescribe this but it worked for me!!!!!
I might add that it took at least 3 months to finally wean myself off and it was a gradual process.
Sorry for the misunderstanding and i hope you get yourself sorted.
