Not attractive, although some can carry it off better than others. At 9 stone, I suspect you look alot heathier than any of them.
I dont find them nice at all, especially Posh Spice she looks awful. You need something to grab hold of. Kelly Brooks got an awsome figure.
im 9stone 2 and i feel enormous wen i look at the skinny celebs all size 4 wanting to be size 2 i dont see the point. a good curvy figure is way better than an extra skinny one the thing is though some people are made to be skinny and cant put weight on even if they want to so this answer is not towards them, but celebs feel the need to starve themselves to be thin. wat kind of picture does that give a say 13-14 year old girl trying to keep up with the trends and they see celebs like nicole ritche starving themselves to be thin. in my eyes its causing alot of disscomfort to teenage girls and is also causing young girls to suffer with anorexia or bulimia.

good point stylinsam dont want to offend people who are skinny and can't put weight on its people that slim down to nothing. hey sam you live near me!
y where u live loopy i cant remeber on that post yesterday xxx

I think it has stemmed from models needing to be very thin in order for the designer's clothes to "hang" well. Nowadays, it is not enough to be a fantastic actress. In fact, some celebs are famous for being thin or for who they are dating, not acting. I mean, Lindsay Lohan? I have never seen her act. The Olsen twins? Same again. Nicole Richie? Not even an actress!!

Back in the olden days, you had to have the X factor, and be a great actor. Skinniness did not feature. Look at Marilyn Monroe. Or Jamie Lee Curtis- she was nicknamed "the body" and she was never skinny!

Now, celebs have to have a perfect body- big fake boobs and weigh less than 7 stone. It's gross. Bring back the talent!

My husband likes Drew barrymore and laments that Im not 'curvy' like her. She is by no stretch of the imagination skinny, but I have to say, she looks far more attractive than say, calista Flockhart in Ali McBeal. Lollypop girl if ever I saw one.

The only time skinny looks ok is if it is on a woman who is also very small all over. a 5'11 woman, size 4 and weighing 5 stone just looks like someone suffering from starvation. The human figure was supposed to look well fed, just look at all the Classical paintings of women. These are the women that men used to have on their walls in their castles, and probably got their jollys off with. Full, curvatious, well fed women. Not skinny, ill, malnourished looking. Bones were never beautiful, unless they were in your cheeks. (face, not posterior)

My husband likes Kelly Brook's figure too ~ which only makes me fell slightly better as I am still fatter than her!

Still it could be worse ~ he could fancy Mrs Beckham.

I don't find the skeleton look attractive at all. n fact I really like girls who have curves! Much prettier ;-)

There is totally nothing wrong with a bit of podge! I think certain people pull it off well like colleen rooney.

I'm 8 stone 2 and find it very hard to put weight on, i'm not depressed or have any eating disorders, my body just has a very fast metabolism.
