I went to the doctors with a vaginal infection. the gave me antibiotics, and on the information leaflet, it says also for trichomonas.

I looked this up on the internet, it is all of my symptoms and it says its sexually transmitted. I am gutted. I have only ever been with my husband and we were both tested for stds when we started sleeping together, as I wasn't his first. We have been together 10 years and have a 2 year old boy.

Does this mean he has cheated on me? in the last year or so, as I had a clear smear last year( internet says it would be detected in a smear).

Am I jumping the gun? does anyone know if it can just be got as an infection?
