Bath Lift

I have an elderly friend who now finds it too difficult to get out of the bath. A belt type bath lift would seem to be an ideal solution and there are a few options to be found on the internet, but none seem willing to give a price range.
If anyone has knowledge or experience of these lifts and their price it would be very helpful.

My neighbour is going to have a look at one she saw in the Care Co catalogue.
Is this the sort of thing you mean?
Think she is interested in the £200 one.

This annoys me greatly, they want all your details first before they will tell you how much. Many won't give that vital information until they have been to your home for the demonstration and the vet hard sell.
Makes my blood boil.
If I can find out I'll post back
The belt types are probably the most expensive, and you do have to pay extra for them to be installed.
The place my neighbour is going to has them on display for demonstration.
That £200 one looks good. Make sure your neighbour claims the VAT relief whatever they decide to buy
Yes Barry, she knows about the VAT.
Although she is coming up to 94 yrs old, she's very much on the ball.
That's good. Would a walk in shower with a seat suit her better?
Big difference in price Barry.
There is already a shower above her bath, so she is ok with that.
Also, she does like to have the occasional soak in the bath.

Thanks Barsel, it was the "Aquabathe Bath Lift" type that I was thinking about.
Love my wet room but oh boy do I miss my soak in the bath. So relaxing.
They have quite a lot of stores around the country.

barsel have you had your op yet (apologies to OP)
No Bednobs. 3 days before my op was due, my blood pressure went up to 213/125 and GP called an ambulance to take me to A&E.
They also discovered I had an infection and put me on antibiotics.
Now I've been told they cannot consider me for an op until 6 weeks after I stop taking them.
Thanks for asking, very kind of you.
oh no!
I have a heavier weight version of this one, it's brilliant, and the powerpack charges really quickly.
Clicking through from my link above, this page gives an indication of the amount of work that might be involved in fitting the lift:
