is it true that chimpanzees have the strenght of 5 to 10 men?( if it is is it 5 or 10?)

there was an incident recently, widely reported in the press, where a man who had adopted and befriended a chimp at a zoo or animal park was stroking the chimp when another one got jealous, the chimp attacked him and literally ripped the man to pieces, tearing off his face and testicles. they may look cute in the pg adverts but they are very very dangerous animals
