Bohemian or Slapper??

I've been catching up on my celebrity reading and am amazed at the number of partners some celebrity women have had.
I don't consider myself a prude and admit to having bedded three males between 17 and 34, and two females this year, since accepting my sapphic tendencies.
When does the artistic, bohemian lifestyle become cheap slapperdom???
I accept some of you may believe I have crossed that line myself with 5 partners by the age of 35 and won't be offended if you comment upon this.

Is it not allowed for women to be premiscuous just like us blokies are.
Why are girlies frowned upon for enjoying sex with lots of partners....including one night stands.
I'm personally all for it and wish i could find all these "slappers"
What people do in their bedrooms and with whom is no ones business unless they particularly want to shout it from the rooftops.
Good luck to the celebs....and to you Drusilla !!!
With you 100% on this andy, whats good for one, is good for another.

You've raised a good point Andy and I totally accept I've slipped into the very trap I was questioning. When I read about the women I must have looked like I was sucking lemons and accept I may not have been so shocked at a male celebs 'score card'. I'll slap my own wrist! :-)

I've just re-read my question and am blushing. I would just like to make clear I had my first male partner at the age of 17 and was 34 at the time of my last. If you have read it as my having 3 men together, I'm sorry to spoil the party. I knew I shouldn't have asked this !!! hangs head in shame!!!
As Andie McDowell states in Four weddings & a funeral, more than Lady Di, less than Madonna, I hope.
Therefore, in my opinion, you should feel free to throw caution to the wind and abandon yourself to the wild hedonistic pleasures of the flesh. After all life is for living!
Four women in four consecutive nights when at Uni - a long time ago!

I've had 11 men...at 41, so it's not much really when you divide it by the year! I am using my husband's profile here...he is 32 and has only had 2!!

Just thought I'd share that with you.

You have forgotten the essential ingredient here - celebrity.

By definition, a celbrity woman is going to be more alluring and attractive than her everyday counterparts. She also has rhe time and money to look as good as possible. She attends far more social gatherings than most people, an is meeting similarly attractive men constantrly, whom she will fancy, and who will fancy her. The final piece in the jigsaw is interest from the public in her sexual activity, and there you have it.

Celebrity women, bu the law of these averages, sleep with more men than the 'average' woman - it's just a simple fact of life.

Oh, and if they think they are not 'sexy' enough - they lie as well - who's going to know?

Im shocked! Not by Drusillas question, but that the normally reliable andy-hughes has posted a duffer! Lets not buy into the belief that celebrities are: better looking, sexier, have more fun in the sack, live happier lives than the rest of us clap-trap.
I for one am enjoying living my own life, and dont feel the need to vicariously live it through devouring and buying into that type of tabloid gossip, nor am I that insecure that I would measure my own quality of life, and self-worth by comparing it to a celebrities. I see beautiful, fantastically sexy women every day, and guess what they live normal lives just like the rest of us. Thank god!

glad you can get along without celebrities stevie, but let's face it - most people can't. And celebrities are better-looking than ordinary people - that's one of the things that makes them celebrities. (I'm generalising wildly here, of course: Carol Thatcher must be a celebrity, but she's not the 'glamour model' sort; I'm thinking more of Caprice/Zoe Ball/J-Lo and so on). They look good, they're snapped up by TV/movies/magazines, they become celebrities. (andy didn't say they were happier, though!)

Me, I've got the perfect face for radio...

Why does it matter? I've only been with one man and one of my male friends slept with over 10 women (one night stands mind) in less than a year. It's personal information which some people aren't comfortable sharing because they're scared of being branded a slapper. Rather than comment on your number Drusilla, I'm more perplexed by your attitude. Why is it just famous women you're commenting on? Women enjoy sex just as much as men, we have urges just the same. Some folk think women get more attached through sex, having only had sex in a long term relationship I can't comment on this but it seems to me that when men have an itch that needs to be scratched no one bats an eye but when a woman admits she wants sex she's still branded loose.

Come on This is the 21st century, I'd hoped we were all past these double standards.

Enjoy it while you can, because later in life you have only your memories.
