Can't remember which episode it was, but Summer bought some chocolate bars and I don't remember seeing what happened to her after she'd eaten them.
I do fall asleep quite often and think I must have missed it.
Can anyone tell me what happened with her please?

It's a very stupid story line if it might encourage others with diabetes to go and buy chocolate unless it's going to show the consequences of eating it.

I thought she was doing it to make herself sick (bulimia) as she thinks she's fat (!) and wants to look like Daisy, but I could be wrong.
The Tim and Sally thing is daft, only in soaps do you keep secrets like that from one another ! Tim knows Sally is worried sick and yet he won't tell her that he needs an op - we all need someone at times of great worry.
Like Bobbs, I'll still watch though lol.

A lot of men keep secrets like that from their loved ones - partly because talking about makes it real, and partly because they don't want to worry them.
Men in general are useless at talking through their problems and even worse at facing up to serious health issues.
I think this is a very true to life storyline.

Summer has bulimia - she has strong urges to eat a large amount of food when she is upset but also believes she is fat so vomits it back up.
If she vomits it up quickly enough it won't affect her blood sugars too much especially if she adjusts her insulin to compensate but no doubt it will show in her next blood tests. It takes around 15 minutes for sugars to affect the blood and an hour for the sugars to peak.

Definitely Bullimia. I had a good friend with it and when she came to lunch, I admit I felt a bit miffed when she went to into the loo afterwards. But I understood. It was sad because she was the most beautiful lady I ever had as a good friend. Tall with a lovely slim figure and exquisite face and the men loved her. She went to live in France and eventually lost touch.
pat, I had a friend who was the same, she would be in her 80s if she were still alive. Her mother and sister were very large ladies and I think she was frightened of going the same way. She kept up the binge eating, excessive exercise and vomiting right up until she was in her 60s when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She could go for days without eating, then she'd binge.
That switched her focus from her weight and she admitted to me that she felt stupid and regretted what she had put her body through. She was a lovely, caring lady and my wife and I still miss her.
