my husband is waiting to go back to the specialist to have this operation what do they actually do to the elbow..i know he would be very interested to know Thanks
The homeopathic remedy, Arnica is very good for bruising. You can get it in a cream form and tablets over the counter. Check with your local pharmacist if you want more info.

terrij, the operation consists of an incision being made which is about 4 - 5cm long, they lift up the tendons and muscle off the bone of your elbow and they slice a piece of bone off the elbow and put the tendons and muscle back into place. Doesn't sound very pleasant, but even though it still hurts a bit now (2 weeks after the op) it doesn't hurt half as much as what it did. Well worth having it done i'd say.
