You might find you have to take less other meds if you take the CBD oil.

I'm not bad, thank you. Things are slowly but surely coming together here and we should have our new bathroom all fitted and running in a couple of weeks.

Plasterer has been delayed until 02 December to do hallway, stairs, landing, master bed and dressing room. Wardrobes will be fitted in the new year. Front door and garage door hopefully before Christmas.

I can't wait until this place is all done.

Like you, I'm not sleeping brilliantly at the moment.

why not LCG
I'm not sure. I'll fall asleep but I'll wake up between 2am and 3am.
Question Author
i am waking every hour, it's not fun..
Question Author
loads on your mind perhaps?
To me it's completely normal to wake up several times a night. Just accept it.
Question Author
then someone on here, naming no names moans that the reason i can't sleep is that i am always on here... not so usually. but i have accepted it and will get on with the day, if i fall asleep during the daytime so be it.
If you no longer have commitments....just sleep when you can.
Question Author
which is what i was doing, i don't sleep long just a catnap on the odd occasion. do all chores early so the day is mine.
Maybe you should go to bed for a catnap. You might sleep longer.

I never sleep on the sofa. If I'm tired I go to bed. If I can't sleep I get up again. Nytol does help with the tension. It relaxes me.
Question Author
i generally go to bed, but find that i am not sleeping well in it.
Question Author
i haven't found the nytol much use as yet.
It doesn't always work. Not for me anyway. At worse it helps.
Emmie... i swear by a glug of night nurse to make me sleep!!

Not regularly its addictive... x

tink, had considered that, went out like a light but here i am drinking to drown my sorrows, cup a soup, has a lot to answer for.
When I first read your question yesterday, I though "No, I've never taken it" and so didn't post here.

However I've now remembered that I did try it many, many years ago. All it did for me then was to leave me with an incredibly dry mouth; it didn't help me get to sleep at all.
Question Author
chris that;s what i found, dry mouth and not much help
how are you doing....
The ingredient in night nurse is promethazine i used to take it for hayfever!!

I dont think the odd glug would do any harm.... best wishes xx
I'm basically fine, thanks, Emmie. My daily radiotherapy sessions start on Monday and should finish on New Year's Eve, so I'm looking forward to a New Year without having things stuck into me, blasted into me or anything else!

I hope that, apart from the insomnia of course, you're doing well too.
Question Author
as i have said on this post several times, it's not that i can't sleep - i go to sleep really quickly it's staying asleep is the problem. even if i went to bed at midnight i am sure i would be awake at 2am
