I read all of the expert advice, mull and digest then go about my business as if there's no real problem.

Hope it catches on and the toilet paper hoarders get piles.
On some threads people have said they are taking extra vitamins.

I am not a fan of supplements but they'll do no harm.

Am on prescription strength Vit D for my bones.
Am also on prescription vitamin D which, apart from the osteo thing, is also proven to assist the autoimmune subsystem.
only one person dead in Scotland, with the English valiantly guarding Hadrian's Wall to stop the virus getting through. Or perhaps the virus just doesn't get on well with porridge.)
Hadrian's Wall?
Aye Jim, they're giving over substantial chunks of England based on Roman fortifications.
It's embarrassing.
you can't expect the English to go any further north than the wall, that's quite far enough from civilisation as it is.
Not unless they're on benefits and can't afford the motherland any more so get the Megabus north for a new but colder life.

How we laugh at their whinges.
There is at least one list available of things one can do to ensure our immune system's best readiness. In order of highest importance to lesser, Good Sleep, Good state of mind, Exercise, Varied diet where vitamins A and E are considered important. Other things are then of lesser importance.
.....avoid disputes, worries, etc.
"How do you boost yours?"

By licking door knobs. Sometimes windows.
You can't 'boost' your immune system but you can support it with supplements and diet.
Sensible food choices. Vitamins/ mineral supplements.
I've been passing advice to my old school friend, who lives in North Italy. The best immune booster is echinacea - tea or tablets - and if it's unavailable, dandelion is a good substitute. As well as vitamins A and E, as stated, vitamin C is vital too, but deteriorates over time. Growing your own veg, especially potatoes, which contain a large amount of vit C (if scrubbed, cooked and eaten with the skins on), may be a wise choice if this virus continues. You can grow them in an amazingly small space if needed. I grow mine in a stack of old tyres!
