What foods and or vitamins stop iron being absorbed into the body????

apparently drinking tea or coffee with your meals reduces iron absorption
Vitamin B6, on the other hand, helps iron absorption. You can buy it in the UK under the name of Cytacon and it helps a lot if you're not actually iron-anaemic but the iron isn't getting into your system properly.
a lack of vitamin c can stop iron being absorbed..thats why they allways tell you to take vitamin c with an iron tablet...vitamin c doesnt store well in the body and needs topping up at least twice a day..either by fruit ..a tablet..or juice..
agree vit c and iron work together,iron wont be absorbed into the body without vit c
have heard calcium, but not sure...
