The ms has a cough like myself

She went to work came back with a kind of rash on her face, the bumps are very subtle but noticable and you can feel them. Hasn’t ised creams or an itchy scarff

Has the cough maybe some stress potentially bought this on or is this something we should look onto?

Are you OK anne? I ask'd what do they know.. i never said "they don't know anything".

I have a friend who failed all her GCSE's but she now works in a pharmacy as a dispensary, she had no medical knowledge at all (officially) and still got the job. Now she thinks she's a doctor when it comes to diagnostics but unfortunately, she isn't at all.

Just because you know what medicines do and how they work doesn't mean you can diagnose conditions.

Also.. go into a pharmacy, go up to the counter and show them a rash see if they give a damn or any advice. They'll tell you to make a doctors appointment.
Oh my dear you obviously are very knowledgeable about pharmacy qualifications .
The staff behind counter in pharmacist don't need any great medical knowledge but your pharmacist is excellent to go to, if you use regular pharmacist they would know any side affects from meds your wife is on, they may also have seen this rash on others and can advise on what you should do, it's usually best go to pharmacist first before taking up a seat at the gp or a&e dept
Question Author
OK i'll pop to boots
Ask the counter staff can you speak with the pharmacist, they are very helpful and won't say take her to a gp if they recognise the rash
Geez. The person with the rash should " pop to Boots "
Question Author
Thank you for further help / information Ducksie
working in a pharmacy doesn't mean you are a pharmacist THIS is what makes you a pharmacist. https://www.pharmacyregulation.org/registration/registering-pharmacist/uk-recognised-pharmacist-qualifications
You're welcome spath :)

The Ms is at the docs so hopefully i will have an update for you guys laters.
Question Author
Doc said to her it looks like an allergic reaction because it was concentrated on one area.

No idea how this could of happened though... :/

The Ms was told to get some hydro "something" creme.. Anyone know what it may be?
Question Author
Does hydrocortisone sound right?
Question Author
I read this online.. The Ms has been told to just get it, no prescription no further detail as to what brand etc..

"Never put hydrocortisone skin creams on your face unless your doctor says it's ok and has given you a prescription for it. It can make some skin problems of the face worse - such as impetigo, rosacea and acne."

The affected area is on the galls face?
Yes Hydrocrtisone 1%, it is cheaper than on prescription to buy. Best if you go down and get it so they do not see her face, I use it on my face when needed on advice of GP, occasionally on eyelids and never had a problem but always does the trick.
Question Author
Interesting! Thank you for your personal exsperience with the product, that is promising. The Ms has isues behind her ears going down her neck, would you think it'd be OK to use the product here?

What "brand" should i look out for? Is it over counter?
Fine to use where she has the rash, I usually get chemists own brand, but if you want a brand HC45 is the only one I have used.
Thanks for the feedback...seems reasonable ALTHOUGH allergic reactions tend to itch. But i cannot think of a better diagnosis.
Question Author
It's an odd one isn't is Sqad.. Will follow orders from the GP as she's seen it in person and said that was the correct action.. Even thought NHS online says don't put the stuff on your face unless from prescription. What sort of thing should i be looking to buy?
Question Author
"ALTHOUGH allergic reactions tend to itch"

Exactly my thoughts.. I told the ms to stress as hard as she could how it's not painful or itchy
