Are Anabolic steroid's very harmful. Why are they classed as an illegal drug as athletes take them?

They are very harmfull. Athletes take them under strict supervision, and even then run severe risk of death. The side effects are liver damage, heart disease, maalformation of the joints, genital shrinkage, vile temper and violence, acne.....the list goes on. Just dont do it.
