Ive posted before about this with the advice to see my GP.
But I'm increasingly having bouts of light headiness and dizziness to the point of feeling sick. I was sent for blood tests which all came back normal. (apart from slightly high cholesterol and slightly high BP).
The GP that I saw (who looked to me like a school leaver) gave me lifestyle advice and basically sacked me off. What The Funicular? I don't feel well at all.
I nearly passed out in town today.
I really don't feel well,

Did the quack . . . erm, I mean GP . . . check your ears?

Is there a correlation between anything and this happening, like having forgotten to eat, or if you're very hot etc or is it just entirely random?

Yeah! Been down that path before Chris.

It appears to be random kvalidr, havnt really monitored it.
Well if your blood sugar dips you can certainly get lightheaded and feel quite poorly, try eating something carby next time it happens and try to work out if you've been all day without food when it happens. It's quite an unpleasant feeling, you can shudder and feel confused too. x
As Chris said that laby thing - also menieres disease - all cause dizziness which can feel as if you are bobbing up and down on a boat - this in turn causes you to feel very nauseous to the point of being very sick. When I used to get it real bad - I could have vomited for about 10 hours - even tho I hadn't ate anything - just dry vomiting and weeping at the eyes.
Erratic blood sugar levels might be relevant here. I feel as if I'm about to pass out if my blood sugar levels get too low.

Low blood sugar can be associated with binge drinking and also, somewhat counter-intuitively, with eating large carbohydrate-packed meals.
Drink plenty of fluids too (of the non-alcoholic variety).
Heart rate - fast or slow could have a baring on this but this would be noted when BP taken! If you don't get satisfaction take yourself to A&E.

Thanks guys.
JD, I actually drink over 2 ltrs of water a day. Sometimes wonder if Im drowning myself, lol....
Next time it happens, if you are at home, make yourself a mug of tea or coffee with a shovelful of sugar. I can't drink tea with sugar but can't drink coffee without it.
