Perfume And Natural Scent

A bit of an odd question I know, but do you prefer the smell of a manufactured fragrance (perfume, body spray, aftershave etc) on your partner or do you prefer your partners natural scent?
I'm single now (and happily so) but the smell of perfume on a woman has always been a turn off for me. Ive never understood why women want to smell of flowers or whatever when their own scent is a turn on (not talking about B.O by the way, that's also a big turn off)
Thanks.

No particular preference depends on who, when and where and the choice of added perfume.

Honest,clean and fresh is fine.
I find cologne etc on men a huge turn-on - even ugly bugs become attractive.
I never really notice a 'natural' smell, and I adore perfume and cologne.

I wear cologne every single day, because I love to smell nice, and I like it if other people do too.

*nailit quickly rummages through his unwanted xmas gifts looking for that bottle of Old Spice from his Aunt Edna*
Old Spice has had a revival you know - it's quite in again :-)
I like the smell of Old Spice. Reminds me of my dad.

Either to be honest, there are some gorgeous Perfumes out there, but the 'Natural Woman' scent is very appealing as well.
NATURAL SCENT !!!!

Forget it. I like nice smelling women( all over).
It depends on how much is used. A rep used to call where I worked and used so much of a really strong smelling perfume that I always had a headache when she left.

Why is it that humans feel the need to wash away their own natural scent (pheromones etc) and replace it with a manufactured fragrance?
I bath everyday and wear a low odor deodorant but I just don't get why people feel the need to wear overpowering fragrances.
While we are on the subject - does anyone actually know if there is a definitive amount of cologne / perfume to use, and where to apply it, in order to achieve the subtle attraction we wearers like to aim for, and avoid the over-kill / dogs rolling over with legs in the air type-scenario that overdoing it can create.

Any suggestions welcome.

To start things off, I saw Michael Douglas dab cologne on his forehead in a film, and thought that was a good idea, as perspiration will usuaully activate the cologne odour.
After being confined in a small space with the rep, neither do I.
It's all down to personal choice...I don't see why people need to adorn their bodies with tattoos!

Some people like the security of smelling nice, and not worrying about potential body odour.

I don't think anyone thinks overpowering fragrances are a good idea, including the people who wear them - but that's down to ignorance of the effect of overdoing it.
Spray into the air and walk through it, is the trick with perfume.

(Providing it's in a spray bottle, of course)
I like it when Mr T smells of cologne and/or aftershave. It means he's made a bit of an effort and had a wash. :-)
A-H...a good point.
I put deodorant on before I dress, but AFTER dressing I apply my after shave (always a spray) fully dressed on my face, but wait for it, spray it into the air and stand underneath.
Depending how natural it is!!! I love after shave on a man and my fave at the moment is Boss.
Tilly......you beat me to it.

Well I never worry about body odour Andy. As I said, I bath everyday, wear clean clothes and wear a low odour anti-perspirant. I cant see how that compares to trying to disguise B.O. by spraying yourself with a flower fragrance. If you've got B.O simply shower/bath more often.
