I am 15 years old and my hair is so thin that you can see my scalp through my hair. My ponytails are about the width of a penny. My hair never grows past my breasts and takes an extremely long time to grow in length. I am a relatively active person and and healthy. My parents both have thick hair so I don't believe it's genetic.

this might help ...you have very fine hair, I'm guessing ....can you live with short hair for quite a while ?? Mine is very fine and I have to keep it cut short to strengthen it.

If you keep plaiting you weaken your already delicate hair and it breaks, but cut short and with good quality hair products to give you some volume this will help your scalp not to show, and perhaps be easier to handle if you're playing sport ....hope all this helps :))
Good advice from seekeerz. Pulling your hair into pony tail is snapping the hair. Wear it loose & cut out split ends.
Do you eat well? I've heard that extreme dieting can affect hair growth. Try eating more good fats like avocados and olives.
Hi! I am sorry to hear about your problem. Do not worry though because I know a solution for hair thinning. If you want your hair to grow long and thick, use castor oil. Castor oil contains essential vitamins and fatty acids that stimulate blood circulation for hair growth. This oil is rich in antioxidants that keep hair smooth and strong too. Do you want your own bottle of castor oil? Visit this site: https://www.castoroilreview.com/ It has the latest reviews of the best castor oil brands for you to choose from.
