If you get a black tattoo will it go a really dark greenish colour eventually?

it depends. my dad had one done in the 60's and its gone a blueish greenish black but i had one done about 7 years back and its still relatively black. i think that they use a different ink nowadays but cant confirm this

I've had mine 11 years and its still black.

If it did go green (mine hasn't yet after 10 years) you could always get it reinked in black .
older tattoos did used to fade to a greeny colour, but the inks they use now are far better and do not fade as much.
Also looking after your tat like using sunscreen on it and not scrubbing at it will help prolong the colour of the ink.

Most old tattoos done with Indian ink turn a dodgy green/blue colour eventually, but a proper tattoo artist nowdays wouldn't use Indian ink.
