Do any of you use this??

My face has got very oily/shiny lately & this was reccomended.

After using it & applying my oil-free foundation, I'm finding that the foundation is going on differently... it is almost absorbed in to my skin, like i'm dying my face... does anyone know what I mean?? It's quite freaky!!

Also, as I apply my foundation, white flaky bits are coming off my face... I can only assume this is the OC Eight!

What's going on??

Oh... & my face is still as shiny as ever!! :-(

shine controlers tend to work by coating the skin with something oil absorbing so maybe you're putting a little too much on and the excess is being rubbed off when you put on your foundation?  It sounds too as if you're not putting any moisturiser on which is making your foundation sink into it like water into a dry sponge.  You do need to moisturise, even with very oily skin.  I use clinique's Pore Minimiser T-Zone Shine conrol.  It's absolutely fantastic, by the way.  Then I use their Dramatically Different Moisturising Gel - it's lighter than a normal moisturiser and doesn't clog my pores back up again.
I do use it but only on my nose (the rest of my face is dry).  It sounds like you might be a) using too much and b) not giving it enough time to absorb properly.  I always give it 5mins at the very least.  I'm not sure about the foundation thing though - I wonder if you're not blending enough.  I'd give it another week or so and then if you can't see an improvement switch brands - I've never tried the Clinique one that Piper mentions but I have heard good reports of it.  Oh and i should also mention to try Lush Cosmetic Warrior face mask - it seems to dry up my nose a treat.

Thanks guys.

Piper-AK... it says on the packaging that OC Eight acts as a moisturiser too, so not to use a seperate one!
