Question Author
Tony, that there mess is caused by the snow plows!:)
Question Author
Oh no it's not, JD
Anybody come across Hammerpot beer in West Sussex?
Question Author
Can't say as I have, DaisyNonna:)
Looks like you need a snow plough to clear the snow plough mess then stuey.

I havn't come across that beer, Daisy. What's it like ?.
Question Author
It sounds like it contains pot and if you drink too much you get hammered.
Don't know Tony. There was a Farmer's Market on the shopping street today and it was being so. Never come across it but wondered if SIL would like it. He enjoys Speckled Hen and others of that type.
That sounds good, stuey. Where can I get some, Daisy ?.
Good try Stuey but Hammerpot is a place in Sussex.
You should get him a bottle to try, Daisy.
Question Author
Yes, DaisyNonna. Send me a case of it, and I'll gladly write a review for you:)
Much cheaper to post it to me, Daisy.
Question Author
I say, old chap, I did happen to thirstily ask firstly!
Very sorry old bean, quite forgot my manners there.
Bag was full of sweet pea plants, potatoes, leeks, mint jelly, Sussex beer mustard (also for SIL) and a few bits and pieces. Will probably try next month.
Market seemed to be a great success, backed by local traders, they too had more customers than ever. Great to see an area blossom after being overwhelmed by charity shops, estate agents and banks.
There was live music, face painting and charity raffle.
Ran 9-2. Two cheese outlets sod out by 10.30. Was told that they had vastly underestimated demand and next month would be tripling what was brought. There were gluten free baked goods and handicrafts on sale.
Minimal advance coverage by local paper (One sentence, not giving exact location, just the name of a road which extends for some miles)
Was advertised on Streetlife.
