I've got fairly thick hair, just past shoulders in length. I want to curl it for a friends wedding. I've got a set of tongs which produce georgous curls but they dont stay in. I've seen someone use GHD straighteners to make lovely loose ringlets that last as the iron is usually hotter than a tong. Any ideas?

I suggest you put some toni and guy twist and twirl curl balm- white upright tube through your hair before you dry it, and hairspray it loads when the curls are done. This should hopefully hold it together!
