5 year old daughter, she has massive lump directly under her ear lobe , its very noticable, she has a temperature, she is not feeling sick or no headaches or dizzyness. my wife has given her paracetamol tonight . no medicines before tonight, she has only complianed today about feeling hot.

what could it be , im a panicker and want to take her to hospital but will take her to docs tomorrow morning.

not too much concerned about temperature, its the lump, i thought it was her glands but she says its not sore if she swallows food. when child touches lump its only a little bit sore she says.

You'redoing everything right, sounds like the gland is swollen and that's the bodies way - always looks worse on little people.

A trip to the GP is all that's needed.

Keep up her fluids too.

Worth a read but, as Mamya says, it's best to get it checked out by a GP:

It's mumps.
Good point Sqad - I mistakenly assumed the child was up to date with all immunisations.
