Have any of you chaps out there ever plucked up the courage to tell your wife/girlfriend that they have put on a bit of weight lately or need to loose a few pounds or even tell them they are fat? If so what was the reaction and did you live to tell the tale? If you are wondering, no I am not about say any such thing to my wife but I know someone who did drop a hint that his wife was getting podgy, didn't go down too well.

mamya.........what a surprise to me......I always imagined you to be big...fat....particularly after that thread on bras.

So, in actual fact a slim lady with big knockers.........I am impressed.
My OH is kind enough to comment when I am losing weight, that's Brownie points for him :-)
boxy....yeah.....well losing weight wasn't the question.
Yeah I know, but if he told me I was putting it back on, he'd get a poke in the eye :-)
;-) ^^
Not sure how I gave that impression on the 'bra' thread - I certainly didn't intend to.

Yes.slim but large upstairs - just my build and I know I am lucky as many friends have struggled with their weight for years.
Dave, it would be your last memory.
mamy...." why thank you sqad" would have been a more appropriate response.
When I fist met my OH he commented that I could do with a bit of meat on my bones lol! Think I was about 8 stone 3. I am no longer 8 stone 3 (4 children and lots of good food) but whenever I ask OH if I'm getting fat he just says no you have a gorgeous figure, even though I'm now a good 2 stone heavier. Thing is I know he's probably lying but if he said I was fat I'd probably go off on one and tell him to go find a skinny B if that's what he preferred. I was once complaining my size 10 jeans were getting tight, his reply, well buy a size 12 then lol!
" Why thank you squad"
arghhhhhhhh

"Why thank you Sqad"
It's a pleasure mamy.........;-)
My OH is more likely to tell me that I look nice in a dress or trousers that he knows that I cannot get into at present, than actually tell me that I've gained weight - which I know I have! I can always get my own back by commenting on his beer belly!
Clanad....two words.....Snake Oil!
It was not very nice when I went from being a fit 27 year old to not being able to stand up or walk for ever, and that made me gain a lot of weight. Still, I'm interested to read that I might one day be able to impress men one day if I get big knockers and halve my weight. Instead though, I choose to impress myself by achieving amazing things creatively and helping others. :)
That was a little jokey reply to Sqad from me - my aim is to impress no one and I have always been who I am regardless of my abilities and disabilities.

I realise it reads badly.
Good on you scarlett. Being happy with yourself is quite an achievement I think never mind what others think. I put some weight on after having children and haven't been able to shift it, but being a little bit more than the 'average' weight doesn't really bother me either. I used to be quite skinny.
I think I should scroll down before pressing 'submit', but mamya I don't think any offence was meant.
Was just a little sparring between Sqad and me,but it looks like Scarlett may have taken it to mean I was thankful that sqad was impressed.

I'm not.
I'm sure we all got the humour of it though. We know sqad's type of humour. Just think though, some girls pay thousands for a D cup.
