Anyone ever had this ?

I've had a rotten weekend and spent hours in A&E to be given this diagnosis.

Just curious as I'd never heard of anything like it before.

No never had one.

But certain cysts of the thyroid (thyroglossal cysts) not uncommonly become infected.

No big deal in the vast majority of cases.

Thanks Squad. I will have an ultra sound scan as soon as it can be arranged and have antibiotics.

Not too keep on the hamster look, but even less on the discomfort from it.
