Yesterday I suddenly got a pain all the way down the front of my leg from my knee to my foot. Today it has steadily got worse. I know I haven't knocked it on anything, any idea of what it could be ?

Hello Jasmin,
if the pain is somewhat to the outside part of your leg, it's probably 'shin splints', and all you can do is rest your legs for a while. I get them too, if I try to walk too fast

The pain is down the front of my leg
I'm with Greenrook on this one. It sounds exactly like shin splints.

The condition is usually regarded as 'exercise related' but I got it when I was working as a 'trade plater', delivering vehicles across the country. It seems that simply operating the accelerators and brakes on lots of different vehicles every day (with lots of different tensions in the pedals and lots of different driving positions) was enough to bring it on.

Yes, down the front of the leg, but just to the side of the shin bone. Might not be shin splints, but that's what it sounds like. Best to let your GP have a look anyway.
