Been prescribed a weeks course of the above. Been taking them 4 times a day on an empty stomach as told. Started the course friday afternoon after getting a cellulitis infection in my wrist which has all but cleared up.

Today ive been feeling really odd. I didn't have much to eat as i felt really sick. Been tired and generally down all day....very unlike me. I don't feel i'll, i just feel kind of urrrggghhhh.

Could this be the antibiotics ?

Thanks

Definitely, that particular one makes me feel ill too.
Yes. Can make you feel bit yukky. Does it say to take on empty stomach?
It's made me feel really sick too when I've taken it recently though all antibiotics seem to really upset my stomach these days when they didn't use to.

Glad the cellulitis is getting better, not a nice thing to have. Just keep an eye on it and make sure it all goes.

Thanks guys....

yes, says on an empty stomach.

Thanks Eve, will complete the course of AB's then go back to the doctor just to make sure
Hopefully, those effects will stop by themselves after you've finished the course. So keep an eye out for a couple of days after, but i expect they'll go on their own.
I had two different doses of antibiotics when I had my first bout of cellulitis, I then got a plaster from the chemist, recommended by a Nurse pal which drew out the gunge...this was week 3/4. I'll get the name for you...it was brilliant. This wont be a quick recovery but it should be steady, best wishes, it's not for the feint hearted. Blooming sore.
