Could do, wheat has that effect on me anyway so I'm trying to give it up. I get other symptoms as well now but the stomach cramps, nausea and diarrhoea are very unpleasant

Is this a new thing? He might have developed coeliac disease (a reaction to gluten) which is controlled by diet management. He needs to see his GP who should send him for a blood test.

No he has always suffered with upset stomachs but has had his bowels checked and everything ok. He can eat brown bread and he is ok? so if wheat why is that ok.?

I'm the same - don't always get the cramp but always the desire to rush to the loo.

I eat mainly seeded bread these days.
