Cliches are cliches because they are true - none more so than "Time is a great healer.", although the "time" can vary considerably! I assume your heart is broken over a lost relationship, and you must remember that this is a grieving process, with a set time-span. and no short cuts. Once you accept that the process must be lived through, it starts to become bearable, because you know that you will emerge on the other side from this, however impossible that feels right now. Grieving is not a train on a track, you won't feel a bit better each day, it's a boat on an ocean, sometimes you can make headway, sometimes you're rudderless in a storm, but you have to go along with your feelings and let them pass on and through your life. Try and talk about how you feel with a trusted friend, remember, crying is good for you, so don't fight it. I'm sorry you hurt so much, but you will get over this pain, promise.
