What constitutes good reason? People have terminations for lots of reasons, some of them may seem viable to you and others not, but I'm sure in the persons own mind they are valid.
No.
If within the legal limit then it's not murder.
No, it isn't murder.

Women tend not to have abortions for no good reason.

It's unrealistic to expect people to abstain from sex and until contraception is 100% effective than accidents will happen.

I fell pregnant with my daughter while on the pill.
no, legally (in this country anyway) it s not murder. The clue is in the title "legal limit"
Legally, no, but many people believe abortion to be murder whatever the reason
You mean later than the legal limit. In the UK that's the crime of child destruction, not murder. Legal abortion requires no more reason than legal conception (and you know how irrational that can be).
They don't just hand out abortions. You have to have 2 doctors agree with your reasons.
No form of abortion irrspective of when it was performed would be legally considered as murder. for a murder to be committed the victim must be alive and this is judged by a baby taking its first breath.
I don't believe abortion is any of my business. I don't believe abortion is any of the government's business. I don't believe abortion is any of the pope's business. I don't believe abortion is any of your business.
It's the mother's business, hers alone.
I agree Atlanta but I do think the limit should be lowered unless there is a risk to mother.

Babies can survive at 24 weeks.
No.

& Whilst we are at it - who gets to decide what constitutes " a good reason"?
Two doctors do.
An old friend of mine was refused an abortion and had to go private.
agree with ummm, it's a hugely difficult dilemma when prem babies are born and fought for if a mother goes into labour early, when that baby may well be younger than an aborted foetus who then dies.
My daughter conceived ten years after her partner had had a vascectomy. She was originally on the pill but deemed it unnecessary after several years. She knew within a week that she was pregnant but could not go through with an abortion. My grandchild is now over three months old and much loved although it has put a spanner in the works re her career.
You do not need a '' Good reason '' for an abortion . The fact that the mother is determined not to have the baby is reason in itself. Women can and do get abortions just because it is '' inconvenient'' to have a child at that time.
