No idea where to put this, so CB seemed a plan.

#1 daughter is starting nursery in August. They will provide a snack and drink and this will be free of charge, but they are quite happy to get donations to help pay for it.

I'm not sure how much to give. I don't want to give too little and I seem tight, and I don't want to give too much and come across as flash!

I was thinking 50p? Too much? Too little?

Any suggestions?

Thanks Everhelpful, I'm glad I'm in the right ballpark!
I would give £1.00 per day.

I was thinking maybe somewhere around £15 - £20 a month?

Fruit can be expensive and I know that not all parents will be able to afford to contribute.
Assuming it is a School Nursery if say,15-20 Children attend, £3 per week from every Parent equates to roughly £50 per week,so every Month they are getting approximately £200-£250 per Month, and I am sure the Nursery will be getting subsidised somewhere along the line. That was our reasoning anyway,Hope this helps.
