I never had this problem until recently - I always used to insist on glass lenses, but since I have had my new glasses (especially the distance ones I use for TV) they start to fog up after about an hour and I have to continuallly remove them and wipe them with a lens cloth - but even as I am wiping them they are still foggy.
Have I been sold cheap plastic lenses because my older spectacles are ok.
Advice anyone please!

Somehow the conditions you are in must mean the lenses are cooler than the surrounding air and so moisture gets deposited. Are you doing different things than you used to such as going from one temperature room to another ? You can probably get a lens coating (or maybe even a lotion) that minimise the issue, ask your optician. Meanwhile try rubbing soap on the lens and polishing it.
