I suffer from ingrown hair on my legs. Can anyone advise if dry body brushing will help? I exfoiliate using body gloves, and have tried a number of different scrubs, but they doesn't really seem to help. What are the advantages & disadvantages of dry body brushing? Can anyone recomend where I can purchase a decent brush?

hi, i got mine from the body shop, the head comes off the handle for legs and arms, its not too abrasive either, i'm not sure about the ingrown hairs but it helps with circulation, makes your skin tingle and helps break up the fatty deposits that cause cellulite.

one thing i have used for ingrown hairs is a product called tendskin, quite expensive but you use a tiny amount and it really works, i would recommend that, you can find it in most boots stores.

I have suffered with ingrown hairs and lizard skin all my life, tried dry brushing, various exfoliating scrubs and moisturisers and it got worse with middle age. I got a thing called a silkymitt from superdrug they are 99p for 3, currently 66p on special offer. The seem to be very fine sand paper, you rub your legs GENTLY then wash and moisturise. I now have NO ingrown hairs for the first time ever and really smooth legs

wow! I've never heard of a silkymitt. I also have lizard skin although I call it Rhino skin ;-)

I'm gonna try it!
